First of all, we are professional film editors, not professional writers or bloggers.  I’d also say we’re not professional podcasters but we do have fun!

We wanted to create a space to throw our additional thoughts that don’t come up in the hour or so that we record every week.  A space to pause and reflect on the serious nature of our topic: rom-coms.  I say that with a big wink, but it is true that this topic can be studied and dissected with seriousness like any other film genre.  And we’re still having fun.

I also have invited our guests to submit essays of their own because what’s a slumber party without rowdy friends?
